Pre-departure 2 Summer days in Aus

So had a few bumps in the road to Miami but all is sorted now and can't wait to head off : ) And halfway through my PADI Open Water ceritification the last major thing to do on my many lists it is so much fun.

Thought I'd just give those few updates and a message from Roxie who has greatfully given me a new list of things to do before leaving, it's probably the most insightful advice I've gotten so far (Miss you Roxie if your reading this)

10 things you need to do before you go to miami;

1. Learn fluent spanish
2. get a great bod. and i do many GREAT! because the girls over here.. wow.
3. get a permanent fake tan
4. have lots of money to spend because the shopping here is AWESUM!
5. get a fake ID because even some clubs don't allow 18 year olds
6. buy a pair ...of rollarblades
7. now learn how to rollarblade
8. get you resume ready there are lots and lots of shops you can apply for
9. go on a diet before hand they have sooo much food here
10. wait and buy your makeup over here because it is like half the price

That's about it for now, I'll try and post at least once more before I leave I'm sooooooo excited not long now.

Pre-departure summer days in aus

SO I'm not exactly in miami yet...but i will be soon. This blog is for all those who requested I keep a blog so they know what's going on in my life. I can't guarantee I'm going to be faithful to writing regularly because it has never really stuck before but hey, maybe it'll work this time. Being away from home can do strange things to your pschyi well that's what I've been told, we received a whole lecture on how the experience is going to totally screw with our minds and we may never recover from culture shock and worse reverse culture shock.

I'm got massive lists of things to do, things to buy, people to see and packing, lots of packing to do. My last effort involved me realising i have too many pairs of shoes and my statement "I won't need a big bag, I'll barely need anything" my have been incorrect. Along with the tough decisions of what to take I have mountainloads of paperwork still to do. Everytime i get a lot they say this is the hard bit but after this all you'll need to do is go on exchange. It's lies, all lies!!!!!!!! Every week almost i get a new stack of forms to fill out and applications to complete, Do you know how many trees are killed each year from students filling out paperwork or exchange programs?? Alot!

Anyways i'm off to chill, gonna miss these lazy summer days just chillin at the beach and by the pool.
